Boys basketball: Dawson boys reach championship

DACULA -- The Dawson County boys basketball team defeated Mt. Pisgah 68-47 on Monday night to reach the championship game of the Hebron Christian tournament in Dacula.
Steven Johnson scored 21 points to pace the undefeated Tigers (3-0), while Steven Scaife and Jalcob Evans each scored 14. Levis Wilson also added 13.
Brian Jeanty scored a game-high 28 to lead Mt. Pisgah (2-1).
Dawson scored 28 points in the second quarter to take control of the game.
The Tigers will face hosts Hebron for the title at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dacula.
