Girls basketball: Dawson County routs Cross Keys

DAWSONVILLE - The Dawson County girls basketball recorded its second straight dominating win after routing Cross Keys 73-1 Friday night.

The Lady Tigers held Cross Keys scoreless in the first quarter and the Lady Indians scored their only point in the second quarter. Dawson County led 38-1 at halftime.

Cross Keys was held scoreless in the second half.

Junior Morgan Bennett paced Dawson County with 11 points as 14 different players scored. Jessi Phillips added eight points and Erin Gordon and Carly Gilreath each had seven points for the Lady Tigers.
