Missing Oakwood man found safe
AUSTELL - A missing Oakwood man, 82, suffering from dementia, has been found safe this morning.
Walter Robitaille went missing Wednesday night, and Colonel Jeff Strickland, with the Hall County Sheriff's Department, says Robitaille had been all over the state since then.
"He had been as far south as Macon and as far north as Marietta, and finally found in the Austell area," said Strickland.
Robitaille had been traveling with a small amount of air in his oxygen tank, which he needed for a heart condition.
Strickland said he was found safe at about 5:00 a.m. when he walked into a drug store looking to refill the oxygen canister.
