Rabun County teen dies in traffic accident

CLAYTON - An 18-year-old Tiger woman was killed in a Tuesday night accident in Rabun County.

A spokeswoman with the Georgia State Patrol's Toccoa office said that Lauryn Nicole Ramey was in a vehicle that ran off the shoulder of Bridge Creek Road at David Lane around 6:50 p.m. November 10. The vehicle re-entered the roadway and struck another vehicle.

Three other people were injured in the accident. Troopers declined to identify the occupants of the vehicles.

The accident is under investigation, and troopers say charges could be forthcoming.
