NORCROSS -- Buford kept its winning ways going with a 45-14 defeat of Greater Atlanta Christan on Friday night in Norcross.

While Lovett defeated Decatur to deny the Wolves a fourth straight region 6-AA title -- ending Buford's streak of eight straight region championships overall -- the Wolves finished second in 6-AA and will play host to a first-round playoff game next week.

Buford (9-1, 6-1 Region 6-AA) held the Spartans to just 18 yards rushing in the win.

Seon Jones paced the Wolves offense with 19 rushes for 160 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Alex Ross was also 7 of 13 passing for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns through the air.
