Several Jefferson High School wrestlers recently competed in the preseason Super 32 tournament in North Carolina on Oct. 24.
Dragons prep wrestlers that took part in the national tournament included Forrest Prbysyz, Isaac Kelly, Kyle Springer and Jake Sherman. Also competing were Jefferson Middle School wrestlers Jack Dollar (who finished 7th) and Tyler Maranelli.
The Super 32 drew wrestlers from 35 states, and featured over 175 state champions. More than 50 college coaches were also in attendance.
Springer went 4-2 during the competition, while Kelly also went 4-2. Prbysyz finished 3-2 and Sherman 3-3.
