The Stimulus Bill was not about stimulating the economy. The Health Care Bill is not about your health. The soon-to-become a Climate Change Bill, more known as Cap and Trade, is not about the climate. These charades of bills are about taking your freedoms and grasping control of your lives.
Before I continue, I want you to understand that I am not against all social programs. I am just against the social programs which will snare one into total government substance for life and make one beholden to a one-party government.
Let me back up a minute and tell you why Americans are so willing to let the government become their God instead of God being their God.
When I was growing up, men of all colors stayed with their wives and were proud of their children. Democrat Liberal President Lyndon Johnson in the early 1960’s passed what was called the “Great Society Bill”, which basically gave money to people for doing nothing. This bill was not passed to help people, well, at least it has proven to have that outcome, but I believe the bill was passed to make people subservient to the government and to one party. Since President Johnson was a Democrat, masses of people who at one time were productive became non-productive because this bill was responsible for people losing their work ethic. And, the Democrat party knew if people are on the government dole, they will naturally vote for the hand that feeds them. Hence, the Democrat Party has received nearly 90% of the black vote since the time of the passing of the “Great Society” legislation. Oh yes, I cannot leave out the many white people on the government dole who also vote for the Democrat Party for the same reason. Also, let me add that money received from welfare is just enough to insure that the nearly poor, welfare, faithful Democrat voters will remain nearly poor, and that means they will not stray from the Democrat reservation for their livelihood. The really sad part about government subsistence is that it ruins the work ethic, leads to total unhappiness, and clouds one’s purpose in life. So, by giving money away, which ruins the work ethic and the family, a permentant welfare class has been created along with a permanent voting block for the Democrats. This is a cruel situation that was created just to gain votes and power.
When “Bush Number One” came into office he was on the same page as the Democrats and his pledge of “No New Taxes” was quickly swished away by his weakness and the Democrat’s strength and so, of course, he raised taxes. When his son President George W. Bush came into office, the Republicans in the Senate and Congress outdid the Democrats concerning spending and attempted to take over the vote of the welfare recipients. This spending ploy of the Republicans did not work because the masses who vote for Democrat could not be swayed, as the Democrats have for too many years been the welfare recipients’ “Sugar Daddy”. The problem for the Republicans under Bush # 2 was that they were unable to sway the normal Democrat voters’ block away from the Democrat Party by giving out more money than the Democrats. It simply did not work to “un-brainwash” those so accustomed to Sugar Daddy Democrats. Instead, excessive spending ran off their normal conservative Republican voter block. The Republicans lost on two fronts. Thus, we have the making of a real Marxist President in Barrack Hussein Obama, thanks to George W. Bush and the Republican members of Congress and the Senate during the tenure when George W. Bush was President.
You see folks, for over 50 years we have become slowly convinced, probably unconsciously, that we cannot sustain and succeed in life without the government. We have become something our founding fathers were adamantly against – the thought that the American government was the reason America would be strong. Opposing that thought of government being the answer to everything, they understood that people having the freedoms to create, take risks, and believe in themselves was the key to a strong country. They also knew the larger the government, the weaker America would become. And, they were correct.
Today, we are on the cusp of becoming a socialist society being spoon fed by Obama and the Democrats and also in some ways by the Republican Party. We no longer have the courage to stand on our own two feet and be successful by our own initiative. We will either sup of the government milk for our substance or we will be our own person willing to take the risks in life. It means we are either cowardly or courageous.
Most of the people in my age group had to struggle and work long and hard to survive. After the struggle, we realized real happiness and contentment was born and matured during the struggle. Whether we were successful or unsuccessful, we knew our outcome was due to our plan and we had the courage to take the risk to make our plan a success. We also knew we could start again if we failed because Capitalism is forgiving for those who are willing to try and try again. With the government in control, there is no trying as you are under their rules and must play their game if you take their handouts. If you do not believe what I say, just check out Obama’s Pay Czar who is controlling the salary of people in the industries who took stimulus money.
So, the plan since the 60’s to brainwash Americans into becoming slaves to the government has worked to perfection. And, the cast of characters in Washington are perfect for a takeover of this society.
Yes, change is what you are seeing before your very eyes. But the unfortunate change translates from a determined and a successful American people to an American people who are willing to become pathetic wards of the state.
Is this the change you wanted? For some, I think so, but for many, I hope not. It is time to decide what kind of person you are. Are you a coward begging for the government to decide your fate in life which is really no different than a habitual beggar on the street? Or, are you willing to vote out those in power who want so badly for you to choose to be a coward.
The final question is, will you follow the Pied Pieper of the current Washington crowd and be a coward, or will you be one who stands on their own two feet and has the courage to meet life’s struggles yourself? The answer to that question is totally up to you and you alone.
