Hoschton toddler suffers burns in accidental spill
HOSCHTON - A Jackson County toddler is expected to make a full recovery after suffering burns over 30 percent of her body.
Emergency workers said they responded Sunday to a home on Bell Avenue in Hoschton and found a 3-year-old girl who had apparently pulled a container of hot oil on herself. The child was burned on both hands, the left side of her face and neck, the left side of her chest and her back. She is being treated at the Burn Unit at Atlanta's Grady Hospital, according to authorities.
The incident has been ruled and accident.
