Cumming meeting to discuss road reconstruction plans

CUMMING - A public meeting is scheduled next week in Cumming on plans to widen Old Atlanta Highway.

It will be at 5:00 November 12 at Sharon Elementary School. Plans call for reconstructing the road into a four-lane highway between Sharon and McGinnis Ferry roads. New curb and gutter, sidewalks and turn lanes are also planned, as needed.

The open house information session will be conducted between the hours of 5:00-7:00 and will be informal with citzens invited to attend anytime during these hours.
