GAINESVILLE - Four people, all under the age of 18, face burglary charges after being arrested in Gainesville... the latest arrests in a string of burglaries plaguing homes on the city's northside.

Gainesville Police were called to Chestatee Road Thursday afternoon around 1:30pm about suspicious people in the area.

Lieutenant Carol Martin said they found three male suspects running behind a house.

"Officer got out and did a brief footchase and were able to apprehend the subjects," said Martin.

A fourth suspect was found near Longwood Park.

"We then found a flat-screen TV in the woods near where we located [the suspects]. We searched the area until we found a residence that had been broken into on Piedmont Road."

Jose Gurreo, 17, faces burglary charges.

The three juveniles--who are 14, 15, and 16 years old--are charged with burglary and being part of a street gang.

Earlier this week, police announced the arrest of an 18-year-old and three juvenile - ages 11, 12 and 14 - in connection with a burglary on Laura Drive.
