FLOWERY BRANCH – On Monday, Hall County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a father and son following an assault at a residence in Flowery Branch.

The incident involving gunshots occurred in the 4000 block of Warren Road when deputies determined upon arrival that employees from a private repossession company were attempting to repossess a vehicle when they were confronted by two perpetrators, one of whom was carrying a shotgun.

According to authorities, the two are identified as 28-year-old Randall Hunter and his father, 58-year-old Clarence Hunter.

“Randall Hunter was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault after he pointed a shotgun at the victims and then discharged the weapon into the air to frighten them off the property,” said Hall County Sheriff Colonel Jeff Strickland.

Clarence Hunter was arrested and charged with Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault after he provided his son with the shotgun that was used in the assault.

Both men are being held at the Hall County Jail.
