New drop-off in Dahlonega for recyclables
By Staff
DAHLONEGA - There's a new place in Lumpkin County where you can leave your recyclables.
A recycling drop-off site recently opened on the North Georgia College & State University campus. It's on Radar Ridge Road and is open to the general public and brings to three the number of recycling sites in Lumpkin County.
The others are at 1642 Red Oaks Flat Road and 1925 Georgia Highway 19 North. All three accept newspaper, mail, office paper, magazines, cardboard, #1 and #2 plastic bottles, aluminum and tin cans.
