Volleyball: Lakeview sweeps tri-match

The Lakeview Academy volleyball team celebrated senior night Thursday with wins over Tallulah Falls and Habersham County.

In the first match, Lakeview beat Tallulah Falls 25-20, 25-21.

Lakeview was led by Louisa Jacobs with 7 kills, 5 aces, and 4 digs; Megan Rochester had 2 blocks and 4 kills; and Jackie Burleson added 6 assists.

In the second match Lakeview beat Class AAAA foe Habersham 25-16, 25-14.

Lakeview was lead by Jacobs with 12 kills, 5 aces, and 3 digs; Megan Rochester had 5 kills and 3 digs; and AC Dover had 10 assists and 3 aces. Jackie Burleson added 10 assists.

The Lions next play in the Area Tournament with opponent TBD. They are currently 18-9.
