Volleyball: Jefferson holds off Tallulah Falls

TALLULAH FALLS - Jefferson took a hard-fought win over Tallulah Falls Tuesday in volleyball action on the road.

The Lady Dragons won the match in two straight games but held off several Tallulaf Falls rallies before winning 25-23, 25-18.

Jefferson (14-4) wwas paced by Stephanie Fincher with eight kills. Mandy Daniel had nine assists and Taylor Cramsey added five kills for the Lady Dragons. Carolyn Carreno added six assists for Jefferson.

Jefferson next will play host to Rabun County and East Hall on Thursday.

The Lady Dragons will wear pink uniforms on Thursday as part Breast Cancer Awareness night. Donations and fundraising money will be given to the Cancer Society.
