Volleyball: Lakeview moves over .500 with two road wins

TALLUAH FALLS - The Lakeview Academy volleyball team did not drop a game in taking wins over Tallulag Falls and Yeshiva Tuesday.

In the first match-up, Lakeview knocked off Yeshiva 25-8, 25-15 and was paced by Megan Rochester with three kills and three aces. AC Dover had eight assists, Jackie Burleson had four aces, and Ivy Godfrey had four kills for thre Lady Lions.

In the second match, Lakeview beat Tallulah Falls 25-20, 25-16.

Louisa Jacobs sparked the win with seven kills for the Lady Lions. Jackie Burleson had five assists and nine straight service points. Ivy Godfrey had three aces and four digs for Lakeview.

The wins moved Lakeview to 9-8 overall.

Lakeview next plays host to Jefferson and Jackson County Thursday.
