Turnerville man arrested in drive-by shooting incidents
TURNERVILLE - A 20-year-old Habersham County man is now in custody following a series of drive-by shootings and wrench-throwings this weekend in Habersham and Rabun counties.
"Saturday afternoon the sheriff's office in Stephens County received a call that there were shots fired at The Pines Golf Course," said Stephens County Sheriff Randy Shirley.
He said authorities also received a call stating that two men in the same black Honda threw a wrench through the windshield of a vehicle. Shirley said the driver of that car and his 11-year-old daughter were both injured in the incident.
Shirley said Adam Perry Hunt was positively identified as one of the two people in the black Honda. He said Hunt was arrested Tuesday. The other suspect remains at large.
