Alcohol vote set for November in Clarkesville

CLARKESVILLE - Plans are being made for a liquor-by-the-drink referendum in Clarkesville now that the city council has given final approval.

The matter first came up a few weeks ago when the council was approached by the attorney for a Clarkesville restaurant.

Now, following a vote of the city council earlier this week, the referendum is set for November 3rd during city's municipal election.
