Ames takes win in in Masters, Pro series at LNS

BRASELTON -- Dylan Ames finished No. 1 overall in the Masters division and tops among Pro racers at Lanier National Speedway on Friday night in Braselton.
In a rare weekend of split racing action, Ames led the charge amongst Friday's competitors, while several more will battle it out on Saturday night at LNS.
Johnny Henderson also ran well in the Master's races, finishing fourth overall, while Hunter Kent also won the Pro Challenge, 25-lap event.
In the semi-pro race, Chase Elliott took over in the last lap to gain the victory in the 20-lap event.
And Kason Plott took the overall victory and the division victory in Bandit racing. Dalton Robertson also finished second overall and won the Young Gun race.
On Saturday, LNS will feature a 40-lap Pro Late Model event, a 250 lap USAR race and the ASA Moon Pie/RC Cola 100.
Gates open at 4 p.m. Saturday and racing begins at 6:30 p.m.
