(Sautee)- The 20th annual SummerFest at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association has an exciting program this weekend featuring the Sautee Nacoochee Community Chorale. This summer the chorale is producing a wonderful blend of Americana.

The first half of the program is primarily a mix of African-American spirituals and Stephen Foster favorites, including “O Susanna,” “Camptown Races,” and Aaron Copland’s songs. Following cookies and beverages in the Crittenden Room the second half of the program will feature the extraordinary music of Cole Porter.

The Chorale is in its 21st season at the Center and is comprised of approximately 45 singers who are passionately devoted to choral music.

Performances for this year’s SummerFest concert are this Friday and Saturday, June 26th and 27th at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Center Theatre.  Tickets are $13.00 for SNCA members, $18.00 for  non-members, kids 6-17 just $5.00.
