CUMMING - Forsyth County authorities have released the name of the Cumming man killed in a wreck on Georgia 400 Tuesday night near Settingdown Road.

Capt. Frank Huggins said 20-year-old Kyle Hayes Palazzo was traveling north on GA 400 in his Honda Civic when it ran under an 18-wheeler which was stopped at the red light. He said Palazzo was killed instantly on impact.

Huggins said the driver of the 18-wheeler, 58-year-old Randall Howard Griffin of Roanoke, Ala., was not injured and will not face any charges.

He said neither drugs nor alcohol appears to be a factor in the crash.

The wreck happened around 8:15 p.m. and caused the northbound lanes of GA 400 to be closed for about an hour and a half.
