HOMER - It's been a part of Easter in northeast Georgia for generations... and we may have seen the last of it Sunday.
It might have been the final time around for the egg hunt that was once recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest.
Organizers of the Garrison Family Farms Easter Hunt in Banks County are considering calling off the tradition after 50 years.
Thousands of youngsters and their parents turned out Sunday for this year's event in perfect Easter afternoon weather.
