Baseball: Johnson outslugs West Hall

OAKWOOD -- The Johnson High baseball team outslugged West Hall 14-8 on Saturday in Oakwood.

Blake Stacey picked up the win on the mound for the Knights, scattering five hits while striking out seven.

Stacey also helped lead Johnson at the plate with three hits and two RBIs. Christian Duguay also had a home run, double and three RBIs. Nick Denard had two hits and two RBIs.

Johnson's Fletcher Whiting added two hits, and Logan Pethel and Chris White had one hit each.

West Hall was led by Jake Shirley with two hits and Luis Delgado with a home run.

The Knights play host to North Hall on Monday.
