Tennis: Johnson girls defeat Flowery Branch

FLOWERY BRANCH -- The Johnson girls tennis team took a win over Flowery Branch on Thursday night in Flowery Branch.

Flowery Branch took the win in the No. 1 singles with Jennica Ramey defeating Cady Nix 6-7, 5-7. The No. 2 doubles also went to Flowery Branch, with Megan Grewett defeating Kamy Field 6-4, 6-3. Johnson won in the No. 3 spot, Katie Clark felled Morgan Ruiz 6-4, 6-2.

Johnson swept the doubles matches. Laura Gazaway and Annabeth Peace defeated Elizabeth Mallory and Nicki Price 6-4, 6-4 in No.1 doubles. In the No. 2 spot Claire Crain and Harlee Robson defeated Morgan Reed and Lindsey Shaw 6-3, 6-7, 6-4.
