Murrayville woman killed in single vehicle accident

GAINESVILLE - A wreck shut down Price Road at Cool Springs Road in Gainesville for nearly two hours Monday afternoon.

A Murrayville woman was killed in the single vehicle accident that happened around 4 p.m. She has been identified by the Georgia State Patrol as 61-year-old Mary Overstreet Baldwin.

According to the report, she lost control of her vehicle while traveling north on Price Road near Cool Springs Road, and rolled several times before coming to rest on the roof.

She was partially ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead on the scene.

A passenger in the vehicle was treated for minor injuries.
