K-9 helps catch Dahlonega burglar
DAHLONEGA - With the help of a K-9 Unit, the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office caught a burglary suspect.

Lumpkin County Sheriff's officials said 20-year-old Seth Stephen Thompson fled after he was seen burglarizing a home on Crabapple Road Sunday.

Cpl. Billy Shattles and K-9, Darth, tracked Thompson for about 15 minutes before finding him in a wooded area nearly half a mile from the incident location.

Authorities said Thompson was charged with one count of burglary and is currently being held in the Lumpkin County Detention Center.
