KNOXVILLE, TENNESSEE - Josh Alley scored on an error following a double by Nick Crowe in the 11th Sunday afternoon to give Tennessee a 4-3 victory over Arkansas and a sweep of their three-game series.
The win was the fifth straight for the Volunteers (30-21, 13-14 Southeastern Conference), who remained in second place in the East Division behind South Carolina.
Alley singled off Ryan Fox (0-1) to lead off the 11th for Tennessee. With one out, Crowe lined a double to right field that Andrew Wishy had trouble picking up off the soggy turf. Alley raced around third and easily beat the relay throw home for the Volunteers.
Jimbo Watson went 3-for-4 to lead Tennessee, while Alley and Kyle Norrid both had two hits.
Wishy and Haas Pratt had two hits each for the Razorbacks (33-16, 13-14).
Joey Andrews (3-1) picked up the win by pitching one hitless inning.
Charley Boyce pitched 10 strong innings for Arkansas, giving up nine hits and three runs, two earned, while striking out six.
