BUFORD - The City of Buford, in one of the fastest growing parts of the state, has outgrown its City Hall and has begun work on a new one - but it will be outside the downtown area.

The new complex is going up two minutes from downtown:

City officials have confirmed that grading has begun on the site at Buford Highway and Hill Street.

The three-story structure will cost just over six million dollars and is expected to be ready for occupancy sometime around the middle of next year.
