Mr. Mark Edward Moore, age 55, of Braselton passed away suddenly Monday, February 25, 2013 while in Washington, DC, on Wiss, Janney, Elstner business.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013 from the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery. Bishop Todd Haycock will officiate. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
Mr. Moore was born March 30, 1957 to Tommy English Moore and the late Vernon Moore in Fullerton, California and was a Senior Principle of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois. Mark earned his Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters of Structural Engineering from The University of Texas. Mr. Moore was president of The Executive Estate Chateau Elan Home Owners Association, for the past 5 years. He was the Committee Chair & Life to Eagle Advisor for Boy Scout Troop 534. His three sons are all Eagle Scouts.
Survivors include: wife, Carrie Moore of Braselton; son & daughter-in-law, Stephen & Amanda Moore of Hampton, Virginia; sons, Drew Moore of Atlanta and Matthew Moore of Braselton; mother, Tommy Moore of Lawrenceville; and brother & sister-in-law, Michael & Judy Moore of St. Louis, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mark Moore’s name to Northeast Georgia Boy Scouts of America (NEGA BSA), Box 399, Jefferson, GA 30549.
