Raymond Stephen Carver, 83

Mr. Raymond Stephen Carver, age 83, of Cumming passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012.

A native of Atlanta, Mr. Carver was a Korean War veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired after 40 years as an engineer with AT&T. He was very active in the youth program at Medlock Park in Decatur, GA for many years and was a member of Unicoi Springs Camping Resort in Helen, GA for 27 years.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Carver of Cumming; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Rob Morris of Cumming; sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Debra Carver of Dahlonega, John and Pam Carver of Dawsonville; 3 sisters, 1 brother, 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 5, at 1:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
