Mr. Julius Thomas "J.T." Wilkins, 66 of Gainesville died June 14, 2012.

Born in Lithonia, Ga., Mr. Wilkins had lived in Hall County for a number of years. He was the son of the late Henry and Mozelle George Wilkins.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bobbie Wilkins, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Jerry Owens, Gainesville; son, Jimmy Smith, Talmo; son and daughter-in-law; Johnny and Stacy Smith, Flowery Branch; sister and brother-in-law, Martha Jean and Clarence Avery, Greenville,SC; brother and sister-in-law; Jackie and Kathy Wilkins, Rutledge; Grandchildren, Shawn Owens, Chad Owens, Ashley and Daniel Sullens, Jessica and Matt Smith, Jonathan and Amanda Smith, Shelley Smith, Justin Dunagan; special niece, Sheila Bickerstaff; special friend, Jennifer Jackson and 1 great grandchild, Landon Sullens.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday August 25, 2012 at the Open Door Baptist Church. The Rev. Lee Benton will officiate.
