Susannah Siryon Kollie, age 52 of Wilmington, North Carolina, formerly of Monrovia, Liberia, passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in Wilmington, North Carolina.


Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Chapel Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jim Austin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 7 – 9 pm at the funeral home.


Mrs. Kollie was born September 15, 1959 to the late Monmon Siryon and Korto Siryon. She was retired from Hall County Board of Education and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church.


Mrs. Kollie is survived by her husband, Moses M. Kollie of Wilmington, North Carolina, daughters, Helena Kollie of Monrovia, Liberia, Precious T. Kollie of Atlanta, Anna Kollie of Atlanta and Korto Kollie of Atlanta, son, Moss S. Kollie of Atlanta, grandson, London Kollie of Wilmington, North Carolina, brothers, Sam Kolleh of Pennsylvania, Edward Kolleh, Morris Siryon, Almulah Siryon, all of Liberia, sisters, Geleka Siryon, Boika Siryon, Beatrice Siryon and Musu Siryon, all of Liberia.
