Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday June 28 in the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Barbara Virginia Johnson age 70 of Gainesville. The Rev. James Dumas will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Johnson passed away Sunday June 24.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Hall County to the late Purn Anderson and Rinda Roach Anderson. She was a homemaker and attended the Georgia School of the Deaf in Cave Springs, GA. She was preceded in death by her Husband Horace Johnson and Step-Son, Sgt. Larry Johnson.

Gilstrap, Biloxi, MS, Loria Remillard, Gainesville, Step-Daughters, Sherill Self, Athens, GA, Becky Chapman, Rome, GA, Brother, Wayne Anderson, LaGrange, GA, Sister, Lyn Moyer, Gainesville, Grandchildren, Sgt. Dereck Johnson, Spc. Travis Johnson, Jonathan Remillard, Nathan Remillard, Christopher Navin, Cody Johnson, Caleb Navin, Mia Johnson, 7 Step Grandchildren, 14 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Great-Great Grandchild.
