Lonanell E. Graham, 87, of Dawsonville passed away Monday June 11, 2012 at her residence following a period of declining health.

Born June 19, 1924 to the late Richard and Julie Elrod, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Mrs. Graham was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of harmony Baptist Church and was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Graham; and a son, Jerry Lee Graham.

Surviving are her son and daughter in law, Ronnie L. and Phyllis Graham, Dawsonville; grandson, Kris L. Graham, Dawsonville; sisters in law, Onie Bruce, Dawsonville, Annie Mae Elrod, Dawsonville; very special friend, her dog “Baby”; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday June 14, 2012 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. C.B. Martin will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1 until 9 at the funeral home.
