Denver Lee Tanner, age 61, of Flowery Branch, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was survived by his wife Betty Owens Tanner, and Mother, Pauline Tanner of Gainesville, son, Keith Tanner and wife Brenda of Cleveland, daughter, Melissa Woodall and husband Kelly of Clarkesville, step-daughter Melinda Cansler and husband Ronnie of Flowery Branch, and Step daughter, Terri Wheeler of Gainesville, sister, Brenda Batey and husband Randolph of Gillsville, and brother, Dennis Tanner of Gainesville. grandchildren, Cody Tanner and Lila Tanner, step-grandchildren, Kayla Cansler and Erin Cansler. He was preceded in death by his father William Odell Tanner. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the New Bethany Baptist Church Missions Fund, 6302 Holiday Road, Buford Ga. 30518. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 A.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home Chapel, Officiating Rev. Ronnie Cansler, Rev. Marty Duren, Rev. Randolph Batey. Interment Georgia National Cemetery ( Canton Ga.). The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Memorial Park South Funeral Home, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, 30542, 770-967-5555.
