Alexander's Gateway Chapel Funeral Home of Cleveland, GA announces the death of Mr. Jonathan Wade Wendt, age 31, of Cleveland, GA. Jonathan Wade Wendt entered the Kingdom of Heaven Saturday, March 08, 2008.

Mr. Wendt was born in Warner Robins, GA. on November 13, 1976 to Donald and Nancy Wendt. Jon Wade as he was known, was a “computer guru” with a specialty in systems technology. He was in the process of pursuing a career as a U.S. Army Ranger, which he considered his patriotic duty for his country. He treasured life and was a loving Father and soul mate, embracing his family and respecting and enjoying life to the fullest. He will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Wendt is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Wendt and grandmother Joann Elrod.

Survivors include his son, Jonathan Wade Wendt Jr., Cleveland, GA; soul mate, Tara Fuller, Cleveland, GA; father & step mother, Donald and Rhonda Wendt, Cleveland, Ga; mother, Nancy Abarca-Ruiz, Laredo, TX; grandparents, Bill and Irene Mize, Sautee and Kenneth Prather of Milledgeville, GA; sister, Wendy Wendt, Sautee, GA; brother, Jeremiah Wendt, Sautee, GA; step sister, Kari Pennington, Sautee, GA; uncle, William Wendt of Milledgeville, GA; and niece, Haleigh Pennington.

Funeral services are scheduled for 6:00 PM, Wednesday March 12, 2008 from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Paine officiating.
