Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in the chapel of Little-Davenport Funeral Home for Clifford Hartley Davis age 95, of Gainesville. Burial will follow in Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00pm Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Mrs. Davis passed away on March 1, 2008 at Bell-Minor Nursing Home. Mrs. Davis was born in Jackson County and the daughter of the late John Henry & Minnie Emma Hartley. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church and preceded in death by her husband, Robert Henry Davis; brothers, Scott Hartley and Farris Earl Hartley; sister, Ruth Davenport; niece, Betty H. Freeman. Mrs. Davis is survived by 5 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous other relatives. Little-Davenport Funeral Home, Gainesville, GA
