Pamela Norton Jennings, 40, of Jefferson died Friday following a sudden illness.

Born in Walton County, she was the daughter of Nathan Norton, Bishop, and Jimmie Sue Hill Thurmond, Athens. She was the cafeteria manager at Jefferson Elementary School and a 20-year employee of Redd House Restaurant in Jefferson.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband, Tim Jennings, Jefferson; daughter, Brittany Jennings, Jefferson; son, Blake Jennings, Jefferson; and brother, Joel Norton, Jefferson.

The family received friends Saturday at the funeral home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005, at Bethany United Methodist Church. The Rev. Hulon Hill and the Rev. Johnny Ray will officiate. Burial will be in Thyatira Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Jefferson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany Methodist Church Youth, 4659 Brockton Road, Jefferson, GA 30549.
