Medications are also provided free of charge to patients. Ten paid staff positions support 28 volunteer physicians, 4 volunteer nurse practitioners and 2 physician assistants in the medical clinic and 40 dentists and four dental hygienists in the dental clinic, currently the medical and dental clinics serve over 1300 patient visits each month. Other community volunteers provide non-clinical support for daily operations. In 2005 over 65,000 prescriptions were dispensed at Good News Clinics. Funding is provided by Hall County United Way, The Medical Center Foundation, churches, businesses, individuals, foundations and patient donations.
