A popular park for camping and fishing in a secluded mountain environment; located on the shores of Lake Burton with fishing for children and senior citizens, as well as seasoned anglers. This park is shared between Rabun and Habersham Counties.

Trail: Appalachian Trail and Hemlock Falls Hours: 7 am - 10 pm Known as the park "where spring spends the summer," Moccasin Creek is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the shores of lovely Lake Burton. One of the most spectacular gorges in the eastern U.S., the chasm is two miles long and nearly 1,000 feet deep. The park's breathtaking views and the town's rich history make this area a favorite stopping point along U.S. Highway 441. This park is shared between Rabun and Habersham Counties.
