Inpection Notes 2-2B personal drink and bottle water in kitchen- all drinks must have a straw and lid, new violation
4-2A foods stored uncovered- keep all foods covered in coolers and other areas, new violation
4-2B several utensils, sliver with food debris- dish machine not dispensing sanitizer and utensils being washed in it- keep all kitchen wear stored clean and don't use dish machine until it is dispensing sanitizer, repeat violation
6-1B pork,beef on steam table with 97-100 degrees- reheat foods to 165 and store at 135 degrees, corrected on-site, new violation
13A most current inspection not posted-post most current and display from behind counter so that customers can walk up to it within 1 ft, repeat violation
15A ice scoop with cracks, spatulas with melted and tom sections-replace items- rusty shelves with holes need replacing, new violation
15B test strips missing- replace so that sanitizer levels can be checked, repeat violation
15C sides of fryers, gyro cooker, door gaskets all with food residue and need cleaning, new violation
17C floor tiles cracked, coved baseboard missing at counter, ceiling titles damaged in dry storage, floors with residue- repair all areas, repeat violation

The effective date of the new Food Service Rules and Regulations is February 15, 2006. Establishments permitted after February 15, 2006 will have 90 days to obtain certification for a food service manager. Enforcement of all other requirements begins on November 15, 2006.

The Hall County Environmental Health Department will be offering ServSafe classes on April 5th and 6th, 2006 (2-day attendance). Please call for more information and to register at (770) 531-3973. There is a limit of 40 persons. Future classes will be announced at a later date.
