Inpection Notes
2-1B Employees must use approved method to dry hands such as disposable paper towels. do not use wet cloths. 4-2B Utensils being rinsed off and set on air drying drain board at veggie prep sink . 15-A Opened cans of food should be transferred to food grade containers before storing in cooler. Repeat Violation. 17-C Seal at base of WI cooler door and floor must be repaired to prevent accumulation of food debris and standing water. Repeat Violation.

The effective date of the new Food Service Rules and Regulations is February 15, 2006. Establishments permitted after February 15, 2006 will have 90 days to obtain certification for a food service manager. Enforcement of all other requirements begins on November 15, 2006.

  • National Certified Professional Food Manager website
  • The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals - 1-800-446-0257 website
  • Certified Food Protection Professional - 1-800-323-1908 website

The Hall County Environmental Health Department will be offering ServSafe classes on April 5th and 6th, 2006 (2-day attendance). Please call for more information and to register at (770) 531-3973. There is a limit of 40 persons. Future classes will be announced at a later date.
